2. Public Holidays

All full-time employees are entitled to a public holiday benefit.  All part-time employees who have worked at least 40 hours in the five weeks ending on the day before the public holiday are entitled to a beneift.


An employee is entitled to which ever of the following the employer decides:

a paid day off on the day; or

a paid day off within a month of that day; or

an additional day of annual leave; or

an additional day's pay
