Your privacy is critically important to us. At the IHF, we have some main important codes.
Personal information (name, address, company registration number, contact phone number land line and mobile, email address) is only gathered if completely necessary.
Sharing information
This information is not shared with any other party except to comply with the law. This information is stored on a password secured laptop housed at the IHF office. This password protected laptop may from time to time to be taken off site to complete IHF related work and for the on-going operation of our services.
This information is gathered at the IHF office through the IHF help line, through the IHF App, the IHF web site and IHF Social Media – through Paypal facility on line.
From time to time the IHF may invite users to engage in surveys relating to the industry. This non personally identifying information may be published in reports on trends in the industry.
Personally Identifiable information
Personally identifiable information gathered will depend on the nature of the interaction. For example a person paying for IHF membership will be requested to provide name, address, phone contact details, email address, company registration number and payment details. This information will not be shared by the IHF. Users that provide personally identifiable information through our app or web site is protected under the privacy policies of FCR Media and Eazi Apps.
Personally identifiable information will only be shared with IHF Executive Committee officers following the consent of the individual, when required to do so by law, or where the IHF believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of the IHF, third parties or the public at large.
Email addresses supplied by members to the IHF will be used to send emails and e newsletters to relay business updates/training events/competitions/member discounts.
The IHF uses social media platforms to communicate with the hairdressing industry at large.
Security
The IHF takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorised access, use, alteration, loss or destruction of personally identifying information.
Cookies
Cookies – a cookie is information that a web server stores on a user’s computer or other device and that the user’s device provides back to the web server each time the user returns. The IHF uses cookies to remember user preferences and make available to users the services provided through the IHF App and website.
The IHF nor any third party will note engage in the collection of personally identifiable information about any online activities over time and across third party websites or online services when using the IHF app or website.

Changes to Privacy Policy
Any changes to the IHF Privacy Policy will be effective from date of issue and will be recorded in this document. Changes will be effective from date of issue and relate to collection, use and sharing of information after such date. Check the IHF website for updated.
Your Consent
IHF members will be invited to declare their consent to our collection, use and sharing of any information pertaining to you as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to consent please indicate so on relevant email.
